Inspired by the Lebanese meat pies called sfeeha,

Inspired by the Lebanese meat pies called sfeeha, these savory pies are everything I dream of when it comes to the perfect bite. ⁠ ⁠ Ground lamb (or beef, whatever you prefer) is seasoned with paprika, cumin and cinnamon and pressed into a soft dough before being baked. I love a good marinade that transforms a simple protein into a punch of flavor!⁠ ⁠ My not so secret ingredient.....yogurt! And preserved lemons! Both have a good amount of acid that creates the most tender, cut with a fork chicken. ⁠ ⁠ Blend up yogurt, a few of my fav spices (turmeric, paprika and cumin), preserved lemon, garlic and olive oil and save some for dipping too. I do love a good risotto, and yes it takes time, but so worth it!⁠ ⁠ Stirred with sautéed leeks, sweet peas, lots of lemon zest (you know how i love, love zest!) and spinach, this is the ultimate summery risotto dinner!⁠ ⁠ May I suggest a glass of Pinot Grigio that would go perfectly as well. ⁠ ⁠
