Add tahini paste, garlic, lemon juice, salt, cumin (if using), and water to a food processor. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
If the sauce is too thick, add more water a little at a time and continue blending until the sauce reaches a thick, honey-like consistency.
