Steamed Clams with White Wine and Garlic

Lets make steamed clams.  First, gather all of  your Ingredients!

Add chopped shallots and saute for cook for 2-3 minutes.  Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Pour in the white wine and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute to reduce the wine slightly.

Add clams and cook for 7-9 minutes until they  just open.

Garnish with lemon juice and chopped parsley

Give the clams a good stir so all of the lemon butter sauce is mixed  together well.
