The BEST Authentic Falafel Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need:  Dried Chickpeas Parsley & Cilantro Onion & Garlic Cumin Oil for frying

Soak dried chickpeas in water for 8 hours to overnight.

 The next day, drain the chickpeas and pulse in a food processor until crumbly and there are no whole chickpeas left.  Transfer to a large bowl.  

In the same food processor, pulse onion, garlic, fresh herbs and add to ground chickpeas. Add cumin and flour and cumin. Mix well.

Form falafel into balls and fry in hot oil until golden brown, 4-5 min. per side.

Done! Serve freshly fried falafel in a bowl with chopped salad and hummus!
