Roasted Mushroom Crostini with Wine and Herbs

Ingredients
3
cups
assorted mushrooms
cleaned and cut into large pieces (I used button and oyster mushrooms)
3
sprigs of fresh thyme
leaves removed and roughly chopped
1/4
cup
red wine
I used Cabarnet

Tb
Kroger Private Selection Roasted Garlic and Herb compound butter
Olive oil
for drizzling
Salt and pepper to taste
Sea salt
for finishing (optional)
French or ciabatta bread
sliced and cut in half, grilled
Fresh parsley
leaves removed and chopped for garnish
Instructions
In a baking dish, add mushrooms, wine, thyme and olive oil and coat evenly. Top mushrooms with compound butter evenly.
Roast mushrooms in oven at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until the mushrooms begin to break down and soften.
Spoon mushroom mixture over grilled bread and top with fresh parsley and sea salt.
Notes
This recipe is can be easily multiplied for more servings.
