It looks like I have been into libations recently. I blame it on the hot summer days and the long workouts I’ve been doing.

I have had the pleasure of reviewing Hampton’s Lane Coffee and thought it would be fun to spice things up a bit and make a delectable “Adult” iced coffee. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?

Hampton’s Lane is pretty creative. They have a “Coffee Profile” quiz that tells you what type of coffee drinker you are. I took mine and I am “The Morning Warrior”. Just like my wine (and dare I say, like my men?….), I like my coffee strong and bold. (This is PG rated, right?)

You can take the quiz here and find out what type of Coffee Connoisseur you are!

The inspiration for this coffee cocktail came from one of our favorite restaurants in Palm Springs. They make this after dinner drink called a “Night Cap” and I always have to order it with desert. It’s strong, has a touch of  sweetness and dolloped with homemade whip cream. I was thinking of making that drink but then made the revelation of adding ice cubes, because it is summer after all. And we can have booze in our coffee, right? I think this wold be the perfect concoction for a summer brunch, don’t ya think?

And the fine people are Hampton’s Lane are also giving away A Tasting Box of their delicious coffee to 1 Little Ferraro Kitchen reader!

Found your coffee recipe on Amazing Recipes this morning (I’m an admin there) and HAD to check it out! I had no idea it was a giveaway! That little coffee quiz was pretty neat, this drink is gorgeous, and you have inspired me to buy Godiva Liqueur, for whatever that’s worth!!! Thanks for sharing!

Keep bringing the summer libations, Sam! I love booze so these are the perfect posts in my opinion 😉 Girl, this adult iced coffee looks amazing, as do your photos and styling. I need to learn how to take good photos of drinks. It’s 9:17 a.m. – I think I need one of these right now!

oooh.. I’m a Morning Warrior. Which is appropriate because I can’t sleep at night if I take my cuppa java a little later than morning. Love the cream flowing out of the mason jar.
