It is just about 1 month to go until my 1st 5 k! But first…check out last nights amazing sunset! This was the sky after my run. Can you believe?
And it is official. I signed up for the race. Oct 7…Be there!
Which means that gives me exactly 30 days to run a 3 miles NON-STOP!
Here is yesterdays stats:
The ran outside yesterday and it was a beautiful day. I need to keep at it outside since that’s where the race will be, obviously. My time was predictable. I could have gone faster at times but my mind likes to play trips on me and I have this attention issue where everything little thing distracts me.
On the other hand…are there any runners out there? I am having some leg pains that I’ve been ignoring and want to fix before its too late. Around my right knee cap and right hip flexor are tender and sore. I’ve been given recommendations to stretch more often afterwards and get a massage soon. So yes…that’s on my agenda!
I am still stopping in my runs, but I am glad I actually finished this distance. Again..it’s a mental thing.
Goals this week:
1) Strength training- Upper and Lower body
3) 3 mile run, non-stop.
