Accomplishments of My 2012 Culinary Bucket List

Exactly a year has passed since I began my “Culinary Bucket List” and as I read through the list and skim through the photos, I have to say that I am amazed at what I have accomplished. I thought of the Bucket List when I was just getting the hang of this blogging thing and was ready to expand my creativity and skills in the kitchen. I sat down, asked you and jotted down some of my favorite dishes I wanted to accomplish.

This year has been a good one. I connected with my alter-ego, Julia Child and would say I made her pretty darn proud when that gorgeous souffle lifted out of the oven. I touched back on child hood classics and conquered skills I never would have that to even go near (can you say, sausage anyone?).

Now, just as last year, I sit here in the last few days of 2012, I am thankful yet ready for more. I am ready to expand my artistic side, knowledge and palate and want to share it with you.

I am open to ideas and suggestions from my readers and will be adding items to the list as interest arises. Once I make the dish, I will cross it off and link it to the post!
